Africa-Press – Malawi. The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has honored Times Television and The Daily Times newspaper for their outstanding contribution to raising public awareness on taxation issues.
The two media outlets under The Times Group, received the recognition during MRA’s recent 25th Anniversary Celebrations held in Lilongwe.
MRA acting Head of Corporate Affairs, Wilma Chalulu, commended the media outlet’s commitment, saying “these two media houses always take the initiative to contact MRA for details about any tax-related developments, to relay accurate information to the public.
“They readily provide their staff for our Media Trainings in Taxation as well as for participation in our outreach activities.”
The Times Group Managing Director Leonnard Chikadya was presented with the honor.
