Celebrated artists such as Driemo, Saint Realest and Amapiano Mayor Zeze Kingston will on Sunday share the stage during Mr Entertainer Jai Banda’s White Party at Aero Lounge in Lilongwe.
Hosted by Selekta Rokaz, the White Party is organised annually to celebrate the birthday of Mr Entertainer, a veteran promoter and lawyer.
This year, Mr Entertainer, who is passionate about music and has for years worked with several artists through Entertainers Promotions, now being driven by his son Tonderai, has turned 67.
Mr Entertainer, who last year was decorated by Maso Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Awards, turns 67 on February 2 but the White Party is being held on Sunday which is a weekend.
“Glory be to God Almighty for the gift of life. I am thankful to the artists for accepting to be part of the celebration,” he said yesterday

Apart from Driemo, Saint and Zeze Kingston, the other artists billed to perform at the party include Makasu Band, which is supported by Mr Entertainer, Edgar ndi Davis Band, Chizmo Njuchi, Kellie Divine, Kommunique, Kaka, Pianoman, DJ Chronik, Six Solid Band and Tuff Lions Band.
The White Party will also feature poet Isaac Kadankowa, who last Saturday came out top in the Malawi Has Talent Season II by Goshen City and received K35 million.
“I am looking forward to sharing some of my verses, including the winning poem ‘Titukule Malawi’. This means more for me and it will also act as a platform to thank people for voting for me,” Kadankowa said.
Saint Realest said he feels happy to be one of the artists performing at Mr Entertainers’ White Party.

“I just had to make myself available. Mr Entertainer has done a lot for the country, in terms of promoting music and art in general. I just want to call upon people to come and be part of this celebration,” the ‘Una’ and ‘Falling’ star said.
