Africa-Press – Malawi. In an effort to support education sector in the country, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri on Thursday, March 3, 2022 announced plans to help 5,000 Malawi Secondary and College students with needed user fees through his Shepherd Bushiri Bursary Project.

Bushiri’s Spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo says the man of God has been moved to come after his office received thousands of requests from needy and helpless Malawian youths who are failing to pursue their education due to user fees challenges.

Nyondo disclose that the Bursary targets two types of students, secondary students who got selected to public secondary schools but cannot afford user fees and the students with scholarship to public universities but faced with various circumstances, restricting them to afford user fees.

He added that Prophet Bushiri will give a public address on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 2:00 pm on various televisions where he will lay out specific details on how students who qualify can get access and necessary attention of the Bursary Project.

Bushiri is one of the Malawian Prophets known by their charity works. Recently, he has been up and down distributing various items including bags of maize to flood victims in Nsanje, Chikwawa, Mwanza, Salima and other flood prone districts in the country.
