Commander in Chief of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, says President Lazarus Chakwera owes the former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Steve Kayuni a big thank you for protecting him through his order which led to the arrests of ACB Director General Ms. Martha Chizuma.
Jumah says the re appointment of Kayuni into a strategic position in the Tonse Alliance government as Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Homeland Security responsible for Malawi Police Service [MPS] has not come on a surprise, saying he is joining with the Minister in the Ministry Dr. Ken Zikhale Ng’oma as ‘’machine killers’’ to criminalize all that will be against President Chakwera.
He observes that Chakwera has deliberately brought Kayuni into his government for a good game claiming that a person who has destroyed Chakwera’s reputation cannot be brought back and again he has reminded Malawians that Dr. Zikhale Ng’oma was untouchable in the former DPP of the late Professor Bingu wa Mutharika’s led Government.
Jumah says what remain was corruption and in a desperate move to defeat it, they have brought in mafias who are shielding, protecting and defending one another not to enter into a plea of prosecutions saying Malawi will never be a free place anymore, mafias have captured the state.
’’If the country has Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika till today, he could have done better because he knew that all Malawians were against his government, Tonse Alliance government cannot change, the mafias, crooks, criminals are the ones running government,’’ said Jumah.
