Africa-Press – Malawi. TNM Super League debutants Dedza Dynamos have asked big teams to avoid intimidating youthful teams to get results. Dynamos Coach Dan Dzinkambani said it was pitiful that his charges were frightened at half time before they went to lose 2-0 to Mighty Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.

“If we were a big team, violence could have occurred here. They took advantage because we are a small and youthful team. Whatever happened has no place in football.

“We were unable to use the dressing room because some misguided supporters went there and forced their way in. They poured some stuff. It is even shocking that another fan came to our bench insulting us but was not arrested,” Dzinkambani said.

Wanderers Assistant Coach Joseph Kamwendo said they were not aware of any incident. “We were surprised that our counterparts did not use the dressing room,” he said.

However, he admitted that Wanderers deserved to win after utilising their chances from set-pieces. Muhammad Sulumba put Wanderers ahead before Chiukepo Msowoya cushioned the lead.
