Africa-Press – Malawi. Amidst Affordable Inputs Program (AIP)’ series of plunders, Minister of Agriculture Lobin Lowe failed to give details of the program upon arrival of tracks carrying fertilizers.
Addressing journalists in the capital Lilongwe on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Kanengo’s Small holder farmers Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRM) Lowe said the ministry is not suppose to explain anything on the matter, “Malawians should just wait for other consignment for them to explain better”.
Lowe said the Kanengo trip was only meant for inspection of the tracks that have arrived .
Meanwhile, 13 tracks are at SFFRM without any information of where they are coming from and how many are expected to come. Chakwera is expected to address Malawians, Tuesday evening, October 25, on national issues including MK30 billion AIP scam.
