FCB Nyasa Big Bullets supporter, Chilfundo Gutsala, from Namiyango in Bangwe, is now the proud owner of a brand-new scooter after winning in the club’s ongoing ‘Win a Scooter’ promotion.
Gutsala emerged the lucky winner after purchasing just two tickets worth K1,000 each.
The draw was conducted at half-time when Bullets faced Chitipa United in a TNM Super League match on Sunday.
Gutsala said he was happy for the unexpected win.
“I did not expect to win. I just wanted to support my team in any way I could. This scooter will help me a lot, especially with transportation. I thank Bullets for this initiative,” he said.
The “Win a Scooter” promotion is part of Bullets’ campaign to recognize and reward the unwavering loyalty of its fan base, especially during tough periods.
Bullets Commercial Manager Kevin Moyo said the initiative aims to strengthen the bond between the club and its supporters by offering tangible appreciation.
“This promotion is our way of giving back to the supporters who remained vigilant and continued to support the team last season, even when performance was not at its best,” Moyo said.
Fans can participate by purchasing tickets from and entering into the weekly draws.
The next draw is scheduled for the team’s upcoming home fixture at Kamuzu Stadium.
