Africa-Press – Malawi. GOVERNMENT spent about €100,000 to charter a plane which brought back home the evacuated 79 students from Poland on Tuesday. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Stanley Kakubo told a media briefing yesterday that no amount of money can measure the lives that have been saved from the war in Ukraine.
“It is difficult to state exactly how much has been spent on this exercise, but Government spent about €100,000 to evacuate the students to Zambia. “But let’s not focus on the money but the lives saved. We also thank God. l
