Africa-Press – Malawi. Malawi Police Service is keeping in custody a 29-year-old man in connection to the murder of a Coca-Cola Manager Allan Witika murdered. The late Witika murderer was found dead in a car along Gogo Jenara Street, Area 15 in the capital Lilongwe last month.
National Police deputy publicist Alfred Chinthere has confirmed the arrest of Lester Maganga. According to Chinthere, the suspect committed the crime after noticing that the deceased was going out with his girlfriend.
Chinthere told The Maravi Post that Maganga will appear in court this coming week. The suspect hails from Chikumbu village, Traditional Authority (T.A) Chikumbu in Mulanje District.
This publication understands that Maganga is a Personal Assistant (PA) to Information Minister Moses Kunkuyu in President Lazarus Chakwera’s Tonse Alliance government.
