Africa-Press – Malawi. Fierce and deadly battle of points is anticipated between Lions of Kaning’ina Moyale Barracks FC and Palestinians Nyasa Big Bullets FC in a mid week TNM Super League fixture at Mzuzu Stadium.
Nyasa Big Bullets FC are in the northern region where they dropped two points as they equaled power with the Crocodiles of Karonga, Karonga United on Saturday at Karonga Stadium.
The second placed Bullets will be aiming to win the match on Wednesday to reduce the five point gap created by the current league leaders Cops from area 30 Nankhaka,Blue Eagles FC.
Moyale Barracks FC, however, are going through difficult time in the league having won twice against Civil Service United at Mzuzu Stadium and TN Stars away in Kasungu, Lions of Kaning’ina have lost 4 times and sitting on position 13.But they have been a difficult side to reckon with at home in the recent past.
The Mzuzu based Soldiers will depend on attackers Raphael Phiri and Lloyd Njaliwa to cause the dameges while for Bullets FC Babatunde Adepoju has been the key in scoring.
But they have multiple players who can also score for the people’s team like Captain Chimwemwe Idana, Patrick Mwaungulu, Hassan Kajoke and defenders Gomezgani Chirwa and Precious Sambani.
Pritchard Mwansa, Moyale Barracks FC head Coach, said it will be a tough game taking into consideration that they are coming from a defeat. He added Bullets game will be a stepping stone.
“We have good players which just need to be encouraged we can do well,we are not yet off track”, He explained.
Callisto Pasuwa said Wednesday’s game against Moyale Barracks is a recovery after dropping points in Karonga hence encouraged his charges to utilize chances they will create at Mzuzu Stadium as they squandered a lot of chances in Karonga.
“We lost 1-0 to Moyale Barracks last season but we are prepared for the battle so that we win. We have prepared our boys both physiologically and mentally.
“Hadji Wali is the only player who is yet to fully recover but the rest of players are oky and ready for the battle.”
Bullets are on position two with 14 points from 6 games 5 behind league leaders Blue Eagles FC who travels to Blantyre to meet rookies Sable Farming at Mpira Stadium on Saturday.
