Africa-Press – Malawi. Malawi government has requested South African to arrest and extradite a Malawian concerned citizen accusing him war against judiciary. Longwe who is based in South Africa has been expressing sadness on the way Malawi Judiciary is exercising justice to the poor.

Ben Longwe sent an audio clip declaring war against the courts and judges for failing to exercise fairness in the way they are determining cases. Longwe in the audio clip is heard advising Malawians to carry with them explosives to burn courts, Judges house’s and their property so that they should understand that Malawians are angry for them to start delivering fair justice to the poor.

The Warrant of Arrest has been obtained ordered by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Steve Kayuni for Longwe to answer charges of Cyber related and issuing threats against Judicial officers and legal practitioners in Malawi.

But, speaking through an audio clip, Longwe said he is ready to be arrested, prosecuted and hanged to death for speaking justice that the Malawi Judiciary is rotten, corrupt and compromised and is smeared with bribes.

Longwe said if he is arrested, he will choose where to be prosecuted outside Malawi for justice to prevail claiming that Malawi courts cannot find Asian communities suspected of corruption and all of their accomplices guilty of corruption charges.

In the letter dated July 7, 2022 Longwe claims that the Anti-Corruption Bureau is not independent, it takes instructions from the DPP to prosecute some people on corruption scam while others are being shielded by the same government.

‘When the Activists speaks out about, they are being threatened and some are arrested, I, as Chairperson for HRA, I am receiving assassination threats where I live in South Africa,” reads the letter in part.
