Africa-Press – Malawi. Manchester City remain at top of the Premier League standings, despite a loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After latest matches in the top five European leagues over the weekend, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen, and Monaco are leading in their respective leagues.

Tottenham Hotspur secured a 2-1 win against 10-man Liverpool to be second in the rankings.

Arsenal defeated Bournemouth 4-0, while Manchester United suffered a 1-0 loss against Crystal Palace.

Manchester City top the league with 18 points, one point ahead of Tottenham and Arsenal. Liverpool are fourth with 16 points and Manchester United are 10th with nine points.

On matchday six of the German Bundesliga, defending champion Bayern Munich were held to a 2-2 draw with Leipzig.

Stuttgart tasted a 2-0 win over Koln, while Bayer 04 Leverkusen beat Mainz 05 3-0.

Bayer Leverkusen top the German top-tier league with 16 points, Stuttgart are second with 15 points and Bayern Munich are third with 14 points.

In Spanish La Liga, 10-man Real Madrid had a 3-0 win over Girona, while Barcelona tasted a 1-0 victory against Sevilla.

First-place Real Madrid collected 21 points, followed by Barca with 20 points and Girona with 19.

In Italian Serie A, Inter Milan toppled Salernitana 4-0, AC Milan defeated Lazio 2-0 and Napoli hammered Lecce 4-0 on the road.

Having 18 points, Inter Milan are on top of the standings ahead of AC Milan on goal difference, while Napoli are third with 14 points.

French Ligue 1 leaders Monaco beat Olympique Marseille 3-2 in a five-goal thriller and Brest were held to a goalless draw with Nice.

Paris Saint-Germain drew with Clermont 0-0 to be fifth with 12 points in the standings.

Monaco and Brest collected 14 points each, while third-place Reims and fourth-place Nice collected 13 points.
