Africa-Press – Malawi. The battle between men in uniforms is expected to take place at Chitowe Stadium Dwangwa, Nkhotakota this Sunday, March 20, 2022. The two security Agencies MAFCO and the Cops of Area 30 have created their own rivalry as far as football is concerned and each one of them does not want to simply lose any point.

This makes the opponents to really sweat for their sweet. On Sunday the two meet at Chitowe Stadium in the sugarcane fields to battle it out in their opening game of the 2022/2023 TNM Super League season.

This battle is quite open to everyone as both teams look ready for the fight whereby what will separate them is the tactical and technical approach as they both have the good arsenal to conquer.

Those who will be fast in fixing their bayonets and refilling the magazines and exercise the timely marksmanship will definitely win the battle. Nevertheless, the Commanders of both camps are upbeat of emerging victors.

Eliah Kananji, Commander for the Cops from Nankhaka said he has prepared his troops well ready to conquer the Malawi Defence Force Training Institution MAFCO recruits on Sunday.

Kananji added that all his charges are in good shape and looking forward to win the opener away at Chitowe, the MAFCO backyard. However, Blue Eagles FC will miss the services of their in-charge on the field Schumacher Kuwali due to injuries which Kananji downplayed saying he has suitable replacement.

Yohane Fulaye the deputy Commander for MAFCO said is optimistic of doing better this afternoon as all his weapons are ready for the hustle. Fulaye also said despite Blue Eagles FC being a tough side they will do everything possible to win the match.

The MAFCO FC coach is targeting to bring silverware at the training institution and finish within top four in the TNM Superleague. MAFCO FC and Blue Eagles FC met in a preseason match at MAFCO Sports Complex ground where they played to a two all draw.

In 2021 TNM Super League season Blue Eagles FC had a Lion’s share of the points getting four from possible six, as they defeated the Soldiers one nil at their own backyard Chitowe, the lone goal scored by former Jomo Cosmos attacker Micium Mhone and drew nil nil at Nankhaka.
