Malawi Institute of Management (MIM) board has appointed Dr. Jessie Kabwila as acting Executive Director Dr. Kabwila appointment follows the suspension of three top managers of over MK20 million expenditures for a conference with ‘artificial’ participants in December 2021 which was presided over by Vice President Saulos Chilima.
Board Chairperson Lewis Dzimbiri has confirmed suspending Acting Executive Director Samson Sikelo Phiri, acting Director of Training and Consultancy a Mr. Jambo and acting Director of Finance Catherine Mselemu. Kabwila rises MIM’s hierarchy a year after joined the institution. She once served as Salima North-West lawmaker from 2014 to 2019.
