Africa-Press – Malawi. Former President Peter Mutharika bodyguard Norman Chisale has been arrested for alleged insulting and intimidation. His lawyer, Stanley Chirwa, has confirmed this to Zodiak Online adding they are still gathering more information on the charges.
Spokesperson for Lingadzi Police Station where, Salome Chibwana, has confirmed that the former presidential bodyguard is indeed in their custody. She, however, says the matter is being handled by national police headquarters.
Chisale arrest comes barely a week after Zodiak TV interview on how chided President Lazarus Chakwera’s Tonse Alliance government is torturing him and his family.
