Africa-Press – Malawi. Pastor Patson Gondwe’s Good News Ministries on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 donated assorted items to the people in Traditional Authority (T.A) Pemba, Salima district who were affected by the Moderate Tropical Storm ANA last month.

The donated items including 613 bags of maize each weighing 25kg, and a plastic bag containing each 10 packets of Soya pieces, a pack of 1kg salt and 15 bars of U-Fresh soap.

Handing over the items to KandaUsiwa villagers at Linthipe camp, Pastor Gondwe said the ministry was compelled to help having seen the devastation that ANA caused in the affected district.

The Man of God said as someone who leads a nation that preach about love they felt it wise to join their hands to try and reach out to the affected through various items.

“It’s our duty as a love nation to encourage those who are weak, through our department called love ministry we felt duty bound to assist and make a difference out there and we believe that the donation will change lives of the affected people, ” says Pastor Gondwe.

Receiving the items one of the victims Akowajawo Anyezi, one of the campers at Linthipe. “This looks small but to us its much. I lost three goats and some household items. I didn’t know where the food will come from but with these items they will hold me for some days,” lauds Anyezi.
