President Peter Mutharika has called for unity, love and peaceful coexistence among Malawians as the Muslim community celebrated Eid-al-Adha Thursday.
In a statement, Mutharika and the First Lady extended congratulations and best wishes to Muslims on the occasion.
“As our sisters and brothers gather to commemorate the values of obedience, sacrifice and charity, we urge all Malawians to reflect on the importance of unity, peace and love for one another,” the statement reads.
