Africa-Press – Malawi. The Malawi Police in Salima have arrested a group village headman for allegedly sodomizing a 13-year-old boy at Navula Trading centre in the district. Spokesperson for Salima police Jacob Khembo, has identified the suspect as Group Village Headman Chembe, whose real name is Charles Ledifolo, 49.
According to police records, the suspect allegedly committed the act three times in April this year by enticing the victim with cash but was caught in the act by the community. Khembo says a medical report from Salima district hospital showed that the victim was indeed sodomized by the suspect.
