Uncovering usage of false stories against SPC Collen Zamba

Africa-Press – Malawi. I have noted with surprise the stories against the Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Collen Zamba. One with an easily manipulatable mind would think that these stories are true something which is further from the truth.

However, what I am impressed at the most is the way Zamba has handled these false stories. She has continued to work hard, Monday to Sunday and has not been derailed.

I was speaking with a friend of mine who told me that the SPC is in the office on weekends as well and on normal days does not finish work until 11pm to 1 am.

I should be very honest I cannot be dedicated to work the same way she is and a lot of people cannot work the way she does. In football I would say the SPC is a box to box midfielder.

Some of us and many others in offices as soon as it is 5 pm we get a call, “Tikumane pati, wa madzulo ano” I don’t have to translate as we all meet pa Chesters considering bwandilo inatha.

Let me return to my observation on how you can tell there are attacks against the SPC and the stories are false. Patterns You will notice that for the past 14 days there have been attacks on the SPC. Every single day the same person and the same source will publish a false story on Zamba.

In life their are no coincidences, they are being paid or in Chichewa akugwira ganyu. I will give you an example how these stories are false. The article that the SPC is maintaining two government houses in Area 10 and is also keeping a vehicle she was given as PDU head plus two vehicles as SPC.

This is false because my investigations have shown that the SPC only uses one house which is a requirement as SPC in Area 10. When she was PDU head she never moved into the Government house and lived at her private residence in Area 12.

I secretly went and asked a friend of mine at Chesters as I ordered a few rounds of kuche kuche, on the cars for the SPC. His response was quick whilst intoxicated, “amwene, zabodza…the SPC only has two cars as per her contract and they are old ones.

Timayenela kugula ya new new koma anatenga zakale zomwezo. Wakale uja ndiye anatenga magalimoto a brand, brand..(he was saying this as he quickly gulped the kuche kuche).

I took adavantage of his intoxication and hit him with another one. Nanga office ku Kang’ombe. He responded to me as he ordered chicken to the bartender….”inu office yawo ili ku OPC ndipo za Kangombezo ndi zomwezi…koma ukufunsa kwambiri kodi bwanji?”.

Immediately, I stopped asking as I had gotten the information I was looking for. This is when I confirmed my suspicion that the stories against the SPC were false and wondered why others have been carrying false stories against probably the hardest working Civil Servant. I continued my investigations and what I found out will have you shocked and understand why “envy” was included in our national anthem.
