Africa-Press – Mauritius. It was rampant on Facebook and looking for its prey on social networks. Pascal Desroches, 31, was arrested by the police on Saturday. This homeless man, who sleeps in a night shelter in the capital, was arrested at the Gare du Nord.
He allegedly abused three young girls this year. He joined his victims at their dates in a suit and tie. He confessed during his interrogation. Pascal Desroches stole the laptop of an MITD student in Ebene to gain access to social media.

The thug then pulled out a knife and threatened the student. He bit her hand and managed to steal her cell phone. Then, Pascal Desroches created a fake profile in the name of Sandoval Risley to make “friends” to whom he made an appointment.
He allegedly sexually abused a college girl on September 28. He waited until the 14-year-old left school. The minor was walking down rue Père Laval, in the Beau-Bassin region, when he took out a cutter and said “res trankil pa fer okenn zes ou mo touy twa”.
Panicked, the young girl followed him. They took a bus and got off at St-Jean, to go to a cane field in Ebène, where he allegedly sexually assaulted the young girl.
The minor managed to escape. She asked for help from volunteers who took her to the Quatre-Bornes police station. Three weeks ago, with the same modus operandi, he allegedly raped a young girl in Ebony.
It would have cracked down again on Friday. He waited for a 21-year-old woman at Trianon. When the young woman, who lives in the South, got off the bus, Pascal Desroches reportedly took out his knife.
He ordered her to follow him to Emerald Park. In wasteland, he allegedly abused her. After his crime, the suspect fled, leaving the young woman to her fate.
The security guard of a shopping center in the area helped him by alerting the police. The investigation is being conducted by Sergeant Appi and the Rose-Hill CID under the supervision of Police Superintendent Bansoodeb
