In addition to Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, which will host the Opening Ceremony, the inspectors also went to Zanzibar’s Amaan Stadium.
At the Mandela International Stadium in Kampala, Uganda, the last rounds of inspections came to an end on Thursday, July 9.
The many functional leads of CAF from important departments, including Competitions, Marketing, Media, Broadcast, Safety & Security, and Infrastructure, led the thorough inspection mission.
They were accompanied by their counterparts from the Local Organising Committees in the three host countries.
The successful completion of the last set of inspections, which is just a few days before the tournament begins, is a major milestone in the thrilling countdown to East Africa’s hosting of what is sure to be an incredible celebration of African football.
The three host countries’ combined preparedness and increasing enthusiasm before the competition begins are reflected in the successful inspection.
The governments and local organising committees of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda are acknowledged by CAF for their dedication and collaboration in making the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship a great success.
