CJSOI Games 2022: Sponsorship Agreements signed to further promote regional sporting events

Africa-Press – Mauritius. A Sponsorship Signature Ceremony, in the context of the 12th edition of the CJSOI (Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien 2022) and to further promote national and regional sporting events, was held on 09 November 2022 at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex. The Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation, Mr Jean Christophe Stephan Toussaint, and other personalities, were present.

Sponsorship Agreements were signed on that occasion between the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation and six sponsors namely: State Bank of Mauritius – Platinum sponsor (Rs 5M); Quality Beverages Ltd – Gold sponsor (Rs 2M); Olympia Sports Ltd – Silver sponsor (Rs 1.6M); Rogers Capital – Silver sponsor (Rs 1.6M); Emboss Ltd – Bronze sponsor (Rs 500,000); and, Mauritius Housing Company – Bronze sponsor (Rs 250,000).

The CJSOI Games are being hosted by Mauritius from 04 to 11 December this year. This is the third time that Mauritius will be hosting the Games. In fact, the country previously organised the Games in the years 1995 and 2006.

The CJSOI Games have as objectives to promote friendship ties between young people and foster regional cooperation, sporting culture and development of youth aged between 14 and 17 years.
