Africa-Press – Mauritius. A working session between the Minister of Youth, Sports and Family of Seychelles, President of the Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI), Mrs Marie-Celine Zialor, along with her delegation and the Secretary-General of the CJSOI, Mr A.
Cheetamun, was held this afternoon, at the Voilà Hotel, in Bagatelle. It is recalled that Minister Marie-Celine Zialor landed in Mauritius, this morning, for a four-day visit, in her capacity as President of the CJSOI.
In a statement, the Minister said that she has an intense schedule during her visit in Mauritius. She dwelt on her objective of revolutionising the CJSOI Games and further valuing the youths.
She also spoke of her intent to provide enhanced support and collaboration to the CJSOI Secretariat located in Mauritius, and assist them in their task.
Mrs Marie-Celine Zialor also remarked that it is important to come up with better strategies to enhance collaboration with other Sports organisations so as to provide more opportunities to athletes and youths to participate in international Games.
The Minister emphasised that small islands have big ideas and huge abilities, and stressed that it is high time that Small Island States obtain visibility on the international landscape.
