Africa-Press – Mauritius. A total of 3 145 PCR tests were carried out yesterday by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. The results were obtained late in the evening. – 2 cases were detected in ongoing Contact Tracing exercises.
– 23 cases were recorded in COVID-19 Testing Centres.
– 1 case was detected following routine screening on admission to a care unit.
– 3 cases were registered in quarantine centres on Day 5 , 7 and 9 respectively. These patients had negative PCR tests on admission.
– 1 case was detected in a private clinic and was confirmed by the Ministry.
1 835 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 05 and as at yesterday afternoon, 1 245 of them, considered cured, were able to return home. As at date, the country has 568 active cases of COVID-19.
