Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Mauritius, Mr Ante Cicvarić, paid a courtesy call, this afternoon, on the Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr Alan Ganoo, at Newton Tower in Port Louis.
In a statement, Ambassador Cicvarić highlighted that the meeting with Minister Ganoo was cordial and constructive, and that discussions focused on various topics of common interest for Mauritius and Croatia. He expressed hope that the two countries will deepen their already excellent bilateral relations.
The Croatian Ambassador further underlined that the collaboration between Mauritius and Croatia will focus, among others, on the tourism sector, which is an important source of income for the people of both countries, on the blue economy, as well as on cultural exchanges.
It is recalled that prior to meeting Minister Ganoo, Ambassador Cicvarić presented, this morning, his copie d’usage to the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Haymandoyal Dillum. He also presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun.
