Africa-Press – Mauritius. Dhaneshwar Damry has been appointed chairman of the Parliamentary Committee overseeing the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC), Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam announced. This committee will be responsible for monitoring the activities and effectiveness of the FCC.
The committee’s government members include Chetan Baboolall, Marie Roxana Collet, Chitraduthsing Lukeeram, and Babita Thannoo. They will work alongside members of the opposition to provide comprehensive oversight.
