Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador of Japan to Mauritius, Mr Masahiro Kan, paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, this afternoon, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
In a statement following the meeting, Ambassador Kan expressed his honour at meeting the Prime Minister for the first time, highlighting the importance of their discussions, which he described as both useful and fruitful.
He, moreover, spoke about his mission to advance the strong relationship between Mauritius and Japan across various sectors, including the management of environmental challenges.
Furthermore, Ambassador Kan underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation beyond security matters to encompass a broader spectrum of fields, reflecting a commitment to mutual growth and prosperity.
