High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria pays farewell call on PM Jugnauth

Africa-Press – Mauritius. The outgoing High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Yamah Mohammed Musa, ​​ paid a farewell call on the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, today, at the New Treasury Building, in Port Louis.

In a statement, Mr Musa said that the meeting with the Prime Minister was very warm and that discussions focused on the existing relations between Nigeria and Mauritius and on new ways to further strengthen the bilateral ties.

He further elaborated on areas of mutual interest between the two countries including the African Continental Free Trade Area, ease of doing business as well as the good quality education system in Mauritius.

He added that the population of Nigerian students in Mauritius is on the rise. Mr Musa has completed a two-and-a-half-year tenure as High Commissioner in Mauritius and has had a warm and welcoming experience during his stay.
