Africa-Press – Mauritius. The High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to Mauritius, Mr Antonis Mandritis, paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Mrs Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, this afternoon, at the seat of the Ministry in Phoenix.
In a statement, the High Commissioner said that it was a privilege to meet the VPM. He underlined that the discussion with the Education Minister essentially focused on possible areas of cooperation in the tertiary education sector, and how the two countries’ tertiary institutions can collaborate.
Moreover, Mr Antonis Mandritis pointed out that they spoke about other topics of mutual interest for both Mauritius and Cyprus, including tourism and maritime issues.
