The CAB, he underlined, will act as intermediary between the people and Government. Furthermore, he pointed out that the previous CAB office was not adapted to the needs of each citizen and was inaccessible to old persons and handicapped people.

He urged the population to adopt all sanitary protocols required such as the wearing of face masks, using hand sanitisers, and maintaining physical distancing, amongst others.
Furthermore, Mr Hurreeram reiterated that Government is working towards the provision of adequate facilities in the sector of infrastructure to cater for the welfare of the population.
In this context, he indicated that some Rs 20 billion have been allocated to the sector in order to tackle the issues of flooding and to implement drain projects around the country.
For his part, Minister Toussaint underscored that CAB offices will be operating as per alphabetical order in a bid to provide assistance to everyone while respecting sanitary protocols and measures that need to be implemented during the third phase of re-opening.
In the same vein, he appealed to the population to continue maintaining all sanitary protocols so as to help the country combat the COVID-19 pandemic effectively.
