Africa-Press – Mauritius. The possibility to sign an agreement to facilitate exchanges between Iran and Mauritius was at the fore of discussions during a courtesy call, today, by the Chargé d’Affaires of Iran, Mr Hassan Ali Bakhshi, on the Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Mrs Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, at the seat of the Ministry in Phoenix.
In a statement, Mr Bakhshi pointed out that discussions with the Vice-Prime Minister focused on opportunities of cooperation in the educational sector between both countries.
The possibilities for Iranians to come to Mauritius for studies and the opportunities for bilingual educational programmes in Mauritius were brought forth during discussions, he stated. Propositions pertaining to Iranian scholarships in different fields and trainings were also highlighted by the Chargé d’Affaires at the meeting.
