Africa-Press – Mauritius. An elderly Israeli hostage who was freed by Hamas last night said she was taken into the terror group’s “spiderweb” of tunnels inside Gaza. Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, went through “hell” during her two-week ordeal after being kidnapped from her kibbutz along with her husband, who is still in captivity.

She said she was taken on the back of a motorbike before being forced to walk for a few kilometres and into a network of tunnels that “looked like a spiderweb.

” Her daughter Sharone Lifschitz was translating her comments from Hebrew to English. She went through “hell”, she said, adding that Hamas militants “looked after our needs.”
