Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Government of Mauritius responded early to the Covid-19 pandemic with stringent lockdown measures and saw a drastic reduction in new cases. This study examines the Mauritian response and estimates that the measures led to an 80% reduction in the coronavirus transmission rate.
