Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Sporting Post has learnt that the Gambling Regulatory Authority has urged the MTC Sports and Leisure Ltd (MTCSL), a public company and wholly-owned subsidiary of the MTC, to accept the non-negotiable conditions attached to the 2022 Horseracing Operator’s Licence and to pay the costs thereof by no later than noon on Wednesday 8 June.

In a statement issued today, the MTCSL said that in the best interests of the sport, the costs will be paid and that horseracing would resume on Saturday 11 June 2022.
