Africa-Press – Mauritius. Rezistans ek Alternativ will meet again with leaders of the PTr/MMM/ND Alliance this Friday. This will be the sixth meeting between these political formations. It will be held at Navin Ramgoolam’s Riverwalk residence.
On the agenda this Friday is the finalization or otherwise of the electoral agreement between these political parties with a view to the general elections. We also understand that this is an enlarged meeting, with the participation of other representatives of the Labor Party and the MMM.
At the last meeting, Ashok Subron pointed out that negotiations were still underway, but that nothing had yet been finalized.
For his part, Navin Ramgoolam, at a press conference last Saturday, expressed the hope that the alliance would be finalized.
