Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Minister of National Infrastructure and Community Development, Mr Mahendranuth Sharma Hurreeram, inaugurated, yesterday at the Citadelle Mall in Port Louis, an indoor gym for the staff of the National Development Unit (NDU).
In a statement, Minister Hurreeram highlighted that his Ministry has set up a gym at the Citadelle Mall so that civil servants posted at the NDU can practice a regular physical activity in order to ensure that they remain healthy while working in a good environment.
The Minister informed that the staff of the NDU will thus have the opportunity to use the gym before or after working hours, and even during their lunchtime.
Furthermore, he seized this opportunity to remind that the Prime Minister never fails to stress on the importance for every citizen to practice a regular physical activity, which is key to ensuring one’s good health.
