NASA announced the creation of a team to study unidentified flying objects (UFOs), the work will start from this Monday, 24th of this month and will last nine months, so that specialists can observe the “events in the sky that cannot be identified as airplanes or other known natural phenomena”, the report is due to be completed next year and will be made public.

According to the Cnet website, quoted by Notícias ao Minuto, the team will have 16 elements specialized in Artificial Intelligence, biology, aerospace security, genetics, engineering and others.

The commission will analyze documents declassified by the government, as well as explore the unknown, understanding that this mission can help “understand the data we have regarding the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects and that can be critical for us to draw scientific conclusions about what is happening in the sky,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, director of science at NASA in Washington.
