Africa-Press – Mauritius. AC Milan are closing in on a major signing, with Christopher Nkunku set to join the Serie A giants from Chelsea.
According to reports, both clubs have reached a verbal agreement in principle, with official documents expected to be prepared today.
The transfer fee is understood to be around €35 million, including add-ons.
Nkunku has already given the green light to a five-year contract with Milan, having said yes to the proposal on Wednesday.
The French forward, who joined Chelsea in 2023, has battled injuries during his time in England but remains highly rated for his creativity and attacking threat.
His move to Milan is expected to provide Stefano Pioli’s side with a significant boost in attack ahead of the new campaign.
