Faced with questions from’Adrien Duval about the payment of the fourteenth month during the Prime minister’s Question Time in Parliament on Tuesday, December 10, Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam said that’il will make an imminent declaration on the economic situation. The Prime Minister promised to take stock of the country’s economic situation at’a statement in parliament this afternoon. Navin Ramgoolam has specified that’a final decision on the 14th month will be taken at the next Council of Ministers, scheduled this Friday. He also stated that’il wishes to be extremely careful to minimize the « adverse effect » of the 14th month payment given the economic situation, but that’ils will go well from’ with « the bill ».
