Africa-Press – Mauritius. A delegation led by the President of Emirates Airline, Sir Timothy Charles Clark, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, today, at the State House in Réduit.
The Ambassador of Mauritius to Saudi Arabia, Mr Showkutally Soodhun, was also present. In a statement, Sir Timothy Charles Clark indicated that the meeting was cordial and fruitful, adding that it was an opportunity to discuss the possibility to reinforce future collaboration.
“Emirates is a positive entity and we will not let the Covid-19 pandemic let us down,” he said.
“We are determined to establish a better presence in Mauritius,” he added.
“The Emirates,” he said, “will continue to support Mauritius in terms of business and investment opportunities as well as in the tourism sector.
