Prime Minister attends Christmas lunch hosted for vulnerable children

Africa-Press – Mauritius. A Christmas lunch for some fifty children from vulnerable families residing in the Northern region of Mauritius was hosted, today, by the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage in collaboration with the Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, in the context of National Christmas Celebrations 2022.

The event was held at the Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, in Trou-Aux-Biches. The Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth; the Minister of Arts and Cultural Heritage, Mr Avinash Teeluck; the Chief Executive Officer of Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, Mr Gilbert Espitalier-Noël; Father Jocelyn Grégoire; and other personalities were present.

The event is an initiative of the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage aimed at providing an annual lunch to vulnerable children. The children aged six to twelve also received Christmas tokens on that occasion.
