Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador of the State of Israel to Mauritius, with residence in Pretoria, Mr Eliav Belotsercovsky, paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, this afternoon, at the New Treasury Building in Port-Louis.
In a statement following the meeting, the Ambassador indicated that discussions focused on several areas of cooperation such as agriculture, water management, healthcare, research and development, and innovation.
He also spoke of exchange programmes between both countries adding that 47 experts have been trained in the last two years by Israel and one agricultural expert is currently on a study tour in Israel.
“We look forward to bringing experts in water management from Israel here and to have a delegation from Mauritius in healthcare”, he said.
