Africa-Press – Mauritius. Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, leading the official delegation, continued his State Visit in India. Yesterday morning, he was warmly received in Ayodhya by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, before participating in a prayer session in the holy city, regarded as the birthplace of the god Ram.

Earlier that morning, the Prime Minister visited the famous Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in Varanasi, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to the god Shiva, where he offered prayers in a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

In the evening, the Ganga Aarti ceremony took place in Varanasi, attended by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel. Following the ceremony, she hosted a dinner for the Mauritian delegation in honor of the Prime Minister and his wife, Veena Ramgoolam.
