His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Prithviraj Singh Roupon witnessed the signing of the governments of the UAE and the Republic of Mauritius, a memorandum of bilateral cooperation within the government knowledge exchange program, to enhance partnership in the fields of information and communication technology and emerging technology.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Director of the World Government Summit Foundation, His Excellency Dipak Balgobin, Minister of Information Technology, Communications and Innovation of the Republic of Mauritius, and His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Exchange Cognitive Chairman of the Competitiveness Council.
The partnership aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences and knowledge in the fields of information and communication technology and emerging technologies in line with the rapid global changes taking place in various fields of information and communication technology to achieve proactivity and leadership in the technological fields.
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama stressed that the UAE is moving rapidly towards the future under the leadership and visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.
