Africa-Press – Mauritius. In the context of the “Vakans Zen” organised for the Easter holidays from 20-30 April 2022, the Minister of Youth Empowerment Sports and Recreation, Mr Stephan Toussaint, effected a visit, yesterday, at the Pointe Jerome Recreational Centre, in Mahébourg to ensure the smooth running of activities.
The activities, targeting youngsters aged between 14 to 20, comprised water games such as kayak and Pedalo; horse riding; cycling; quad and other fun games. The aim of the visit was to ensure that the youth are highly benefitting from the recreational activities put at their disposal during the holidays.
A series of activities were on the agenda to promote the personal development of secondary school students and to encourage social exchanges among young Mauritians.
Minister Toussaint expressed satisfaction as regards the programme organised for the youngsters and indicated that they have spent an enjoyable time engaging in physical and healthy activities.
