Africa-Press – Mozambique. Road access to the main town in Quissanga district, Cabo Delgado province, has been severed by flooding in the Montepuez river and the consequent collapse of a bridge.
Both the road connecting Quissanga with Metuge district and that between the village headquarters of Bilibiza administrative post and National Highway (N380) are now impassable.
Radio Mozambique quotes Quissanga district administrator Sidónio José as saying that it is now only possible to reach the town by sea.
