Africa-Press – Mozambique. More than 14,000 people in six communities in Mecúfi, Cabo Delgado, are cut off by recent intense rain making the road connecting the district to Chiúre impassable.

The situation will limit the assistance available to residents and internally displaced people targeted by terrorist incursions.

The governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, went to Mecúfi this Tuesday to investigate the situation on the ground and consider possible solutions.
