Africa-Press – Mozambique. Vehicle traffic on the Maputo-KaTembe bridge will be restricted on Tuesday night for regular preventive maintenance work and monitoring of the infrastructure.
According to a note from the National Roads Administration (ANE), the work to be carried out includes scheduled maintenance of the support structure, which involves the localized lifting of the deck slab.
The document states that, in order to allow the safe execution of the work, all road traffic will be suspended between 10:00 pm on Tuesday and 4:00 am on Wednesday.
As part of the maintenance work, technical activities to mark monitoring points are already underway.
