Africa-Press – Mozambique. The agricultural marketing campaign in progress in the country has already achieved around 13 million tons of it 16 million target.
Minister of Industry and Commerce, Carlos Mesquita, shared the information in Sofala on Thursday, noting that the process was proceeding at a good pace and expressing confidence in meeting the target.
The minister attributed the campaign’s success to the increase in production resulting from the Sustenta programme and the reactivation of silo storage systems.
Carlos Mesquita pointed to cereals, tubers and vegetables as products already excelling in the current agricultural marketing year.
