Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique’s Secretary of State for Trade, António Grispos, is in Egypt to participate in the 3rd Ministerial Retreat and the 17th Council of Ministers Meeting of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The meetings focus on strengthening cooperation within AfCFTA, as well as boosting trade between member countries.

On the first day of his trip to Egypt, António Grispos attended a working dinner hosted by the Ambassador Extraordinary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Mozambique, Mohamed Farghal, with the aim of strengthening trade relations between Mozambique and Egypt.

The meeting was also attended by Mohamed Safwat, Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sérgio Nathú Cabá, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mozambique to Egypt; and Yousrey El Sharkawi, chairman of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association EABA.

Also participating were Vera Júlia, National Director of Foreign Trade, and Fernando Nhaca, Second Secretary of the Mozambican Embassy in Egypt.
